Pre-Production Paperwork

Below you can find every single piece of Pre-Production paperwork needed for this shoot. It was all filled out in full and there is evidence of that in the pictures that are attached.

Props and Costumes

The glasses were kindly lent to us by Sean; the glasses were used to experiment spells on. The glasses gave life to the scene and were certainly not easy to key in.

Lauren kindly volunteered her wand to be used in the shoot. The wand was the main part of the short film and played a big role, alongside our main subject. The wand and box were both used in the short.

Mark constructed this book very swiftly and he done a very good job as well. This book was made from a "DSLR cameras for dummies" book.

Props

- Glasses

- Glasses Case

- Wand

- Wand Box

- Digital SLR Videography for Dummies Book

- Assortment of Fantasy & History books

- Spells page (that we had created)

- Wizardry title (for Wizardry for Dummies Book)

Costumes

- Fluffy Leopard print hat

- Karate Jacket

- 3D Glasses

- Casual clothes (that were already being worn)

Risk Assessment

We needed to make sure that we stopped any accidents or injuries that may occur. By filling out this form, we were able to take care of any hazards that existed before the time of filming.

Talent Release

To ensure that we could submit this short film to public domain, we needed to make sure that the subjects signed a release form, giving us strict permission to use this short film.

As the subject of this release was an adult, he did not need a parent's permission to use the footage taken.

Our main character is classed as a minor and therefore needed permission from a parent/guardian to use the footage that we took. Thankfully, the parents allowed us to use the footage and signed the release.

Location Recce

This paperwork is signed by the staff in the library and gives us permission to film in there at a specific date and time.

This document is a reference for us, explaining the location and what we have available.

This is a shot of the main set. In this shot we can see the available space and the scene.

This is a shot of the bookcase that will be beside the subject, and on the right is a shot of the books that are available for us to use.

Finally, these are the available power sources for us to plug any lights or cameras.
