Preparing Material for Editing

To begin with, I logged into my local user account 'MediaC'

I then inserted my SD card into the computer and opened it up.

I opened up the SD card and then searched for my footage which should be labelled 'PRIVATE'

After I located the folder, I copied and pasted it to "MacHD\Users\mediac\movies" So that I can begin editing.

After pasting, I renamed the folder to the project name and I opened up Premiere Pro and began to import my footage.

 I set up the general settings to ensure my clips were compatible.

I imported all of my footage and arranged it neatly to ensure that my footage was easy to sort through and arrange on the timeline.












All of my footage is now neatly arranged in the bins and I'm ready to begin editing the sequence.
