15th October
Today Mark and I chose to create a short based on something from harry potter. There would be a person obsessing over harry potter and attempting to perform spells, failing. After the spells fail the subject would walk out and the objects would begin to perform weird actions(Floating, fading, fixing) and the end.
16th October
Today we started the shot-list and adapted the idea of the short, making it better and more fleshed out.
17th October
We began work on the storyboard today and we hope to complete it in this lesson.
18th October
Today we finished the storyboards, we completed the location recce, props and costumes list, shot list, risk assessments and talent releases. We aim to shoot the film on the 21st
21st October
We began shooting the short film, following the shot list and storyboard perfectly. We managed to complete all 15 shots with ease and in half the time that we estimated. Thanks to the crew and talent for co-operating so well.
22nd October
Today we managed to get a rough edit done of Wizardry for Dummies, tomorrow we plan to re-shoot the final shot to make it the best it can be
23rd October
We finished off the rough edit and began planning for the re-shoot. Everything went well and we will shoot later on today.
4th November
Today I recorded the floaty glasses shot and i managed to record the audio. I will finish editing in the upcoming days.
5th November
Mark and I managed to get most of the audio done for the short and we began editing. Mark made some very good changes to the edit and we shall continue tomorrow
6th November
Today we finished editing the video part of the short and plan on importing it into After Effects and finishing the 'Floating Glasses'
11th November
Today, Mark and I managed to finish the edit. We managed to fix the audio and correct some video errors. We completed the tracking of the glasses and made them float in mid air. All is well and it is ready to be released to the people of the universe.
